Hey everyone it’s Katie! Today was our service project day. We painted pillars around a community play area. We had a blast brighting up this area for these kids. One of my highs from today took place while we were painting. I noticed this little girl that was at the play place with her family. She was at the pool and she walked over to where Ashley, Genie, and I were painting. She would watch us paint then run back to the pool. When she came back she was with her mom. What made my day so great was the big smile on both there faces. It made me feel so good to know that we could put such a big smile on these kids faces. It was an amazing feeling.
